Congratulations! You are on your way to a straighter smile! But remember, the better care you give your aligners, the longer they will last and the clearer they will remain. Here are some tips for taking care of your aligners.
Brush and floss after every meal
This will help them stay clearer and last longer, and keep food particles from being trapped between your teeth and the aligners. Though you may be skipping the need to brush between braces brackets, there is still plenty of regular brushing involved for the best care of your aligners, and your teeth!
Clean your aligners with Daily White Fusion
Rinsing your aligners regularly is very important, and the best way to clean them is with the Daily White™ Fusion™ that comes with the aligners. This will keep the aligners clear and bright, and help whiten your teeth as well.
Do not use hot water with the aligners
How water could damage your aligners. It is best to rinse them with cool to room-temperature water instead.
Store your aligners in a case when not wearing them
When you take your aligners out to eat, don’t put them in a napkin – or anywhere else except your case. Even if you know where it is, someone else may accidentally throw it away – or the dog may eat them! (Really, it happens). 🙂
